Rumiko has been a licensed acupuncturist since 2007. She had always known that she wanted to help people by becoming a health practitioner.  Growing up in Japan she experienced holistic medicine as a young child.  Her passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine began when she was treated with acupuncture while attending UC Santa Barbara.  After graduating with Biological Sciences degree she decided to study acupuncture.  She received her Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences, where she graduated with summa cum laude.  Today, Rumiko practices acupuncture in Orange County and helps numerous patients reach their health goals and well-being.
